Dr Campbell is a native of Dallas but left the state to get her undergrad degree in chemistry at University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia in 1992. She then returned to Texas for medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. After graduation in 1996, she then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at University of South Florida in Tampa. She was the academic and administrative chief resident from 1999 to 2000. Afterwards, Dr Campbell joined Northlake Ob/Gyn in 2000 and is a partner of the group.
Dr. Campbell is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was the assistant chairman of the THR Presbyterian Ob/Gyn department in 2019 and the chairman of the department in 2020.
Dr. Campbell has been married to Mark for a long time (> 25 years). They have two sons; Holden is studying mechanical engineering at Texas A&M and Walker is in high school. She is/has been a soccer mom, robotics mom and Young Men's Service League mom. Since she retired from marathoning, she has joined the Peloton craze. She enjoys time at the lake, SUP (stand up paddleboarding), the sun and beach, the outdoors, bookclub, and scuba diving.
